Market landscape analysis of oncology indications for a small molecule drug
by | January 15, 2018
The project team will conduct a survey to evaluate and prioritize oncological indications to identify promising market entry points for a client’s small molecule lead compound. The team will work closely with the client to select a subset of indications for which the small molecule can provide significant benefit. Team members will utilize secondary and primary research to evaluate the following key areas for each indication: 1) market size and economic burden, 2) unmet need and current standard of care, 3) patient segmentation, and 5) competitive landscape. The team will construct a slide deck summarizing their findings and providing strategic recommendations to guide the client’s internal R&D strategy. A portion of the team’s findings will be synthesized into a market report that will be published on BCBA Viewpoints. The team will work closely with company co-founders and leadership, an industry mentor and Biotech Connection – Bay Area leadership throughout the project.
