Putnam Associates and BCBA Case Competition

Join us for a case competition sponsored by Putnam Associates and Biotech Connection- Bay Area! It is a great opportunity for you to combine your scientific analytical skills with business strategy to solve a modern business problem.

Putnam Associates is a premier strategy consulting firm serving biopharmaceutical, diagnostics, and medical device clients, and the private equity/venture capital community. For over 25 years, Putnam Associates has offered objective, high impact strategic advice and analytical services, helping to support clients in crucial business decisions at all stages of the product and franchise lifecycle.

Team Formation:
Each team should have 4 to 5 members. Once you have your team together, please enter your team’s information. If you would like to participate, but haven’t found a team, you may add your name to the second tab of this spreadsheet and we will make sure you get onto a team.

The case competition consists of two events.

Kick-Off Event:
Wednesday, September 20th, 6 to 8pm
Genentech Hall, Genentech Auditorium
600 16th St, San Francisco

Final Case Presentations:
Wednesday, September 27th, 6 to 8pm
Genentech Hall, Genentech Auditorium
600 16th St, San Francisco

Competition Format:

  • 10 minutes for presentation and Q&A
  • 8 – 10 slides
  • All team members must present
  • Business casual attire

Prize:
The first place prize is lunch with a Putnam consultant and a tour of the Putnam Associates SF office.
