BCBA internship highlights:

  • Join a project team consisting of a project manager, 6 team members and an external project advisor
  • Work with highly motivated graduate students and postdocs from UCSF, Stanford and UC Berkeley.
  • Engage with projects varying in scope:
    • – Market opportunity assessments for new technological innovations and therapeutics
    • – Due diligence analysis of seed-stage biotech investments
    • – Market survey and white paper reports of emerging biopharma markets
    • – Clinical market survey for new therapeutics and companion diagnostics
  • Develop your business research and analysis skills:
    • – Interviewing key opinion leaders and potential end users
    • – Perform secondary research of scientific literature, markets, & competitive landscape
    • – Develop market insights and synthesis business strategies
    • – Generate business-focused slide decks to inform business decisions
  • Partner with clients throughout the project to provide impactful business insights and recommendations
  • Clients range from startup founders to business development departments at multinational pharmaceutical companies

BCBA project schedule:

  • Projects span ten to twelve weeks
  • Team members present findings and recommendations to clients at midpoint and final presentations
  • Time commitment is approximately 12 hours of work per week
